A lovely picture here of three ladies in Delgany circa 1958. Here is a description of the scene from Maura Davis…”I Maura Davis nee Byrne am the one on the left. In the centre is Margie Donegan nee Fitzpatrick and on the right is her sister Mary Markey nee Fitzpatrick. We were coming back from Brady’s with the messages. The photo was taken by a photographer from the Irish Times and we appeared on the font page of that newspaper the following day!!. Happy memories!!
